The metal trades union have been negotiating since April for a nine hour working day and recognition of their trade union.
It's rumored that the larger employers in town rejected their demands, while five smaller shops accepted. In the end, the large shops win the day.
Winnipeg's metal trades workers are set to join the building trades on the picket line.
